I made this casserole for my family's Thanksgiving dinner and it was was the first thing to run out. We had a lot of food that day, so that speaks a lot. I would make this all year long to accompany any dish.

My boyfriend liked this recipe so much, he asked me to make it again the day after Thanksgiving with the fresh beans we had left over!! Freshness makes the difference!

This is a great recipe. I actually used whole french grean beans, about 2 cups of mushrooms, and a a fair amount of white wine and this was divine!

I have made green bean casserole where I made the mushroom soup from scratch, but it really doesn't add any better flavor that this recipe. Thank you Mrs. Deen!

I'm not much of a cook, but it was fairly easy. I didn't care for the fried onions mixed in the dished...I would add them as a topping. Be careful with the salt and pepper...can get to be too much! But overall very pleased! Paula is an awesome cook!

I have never been a green bean casserole until my daughter married someone who loves it. I used this recipe this Thanksgiving. The only complain I got was there wasn't enought leftovers. I was asked to make it again the very next day.
    I love you, Paula!

great spin on a classic. I used a large can of the fried onions and added half to the mix and then topped it with the other half. Added an extra crunch and everyone loved it.
