    the best I have ever had. The sauteed onions and mushrooms MADE this recipe --and I liked the added cheese on top - perfect

    A new spin on an old holiday favorite.Not only was it easy,but my family ( even the I hate veggie eaters Ate it right up.I will save this one for a keeper.

    This is definitely the best green bean casserole out there. I used frozen green beans which made a world of difference, I definitely recommend it. Also, I cut back a little on the cream of mushroom soup and added sour cream. I also put onion rings on top at the end to crisp them up - Yum!

    i made this dish as a side dish for a party where we all made new recipes, it was excellent. very easy to make and a big hit at the party!!!

    We cooked this for Thanksgiving - it got more praise than the turkey. MUCH better than the typical casserole with canned beans.

    I enjoyed the taste of these much more than the traditional recipe -- I think cooking the onions yourself makes the difference. Also used the cheddar fried onions and the results were great.

    I've used several Green Bean Casserole recipes but this one is by far the best. The use of fresh green beans make all the difference.
