I totally agree with Rebecca in the comment below. This dish is absolutely vile. Even the kids looked like they really didn't want to eat it. Why on earth would you use artificial food coloring when there are so many natural, healthy ways to make "green eggs"? This whole episode was disgusting--it's supposed to be for kids, and yet it was all fat-laden stuff with nary a vegetable to be found, other than the tiny bit of guacamole the kids dotted on their quesadillas, and the canned tomatoes in the meatballs. And for all you Paula defenders who go on and on about how you can choose to eat what you want, blah, blah, blah, well, that's fine when you're an adult and can make your own choices, but do you really want your kids to be as fat and unhealthy as you?

Leave it to Paula Deen to make her eggs green with something artificial rather than use fresh herbs, pesto, or something like a healthy green vegetable.
