The sauce/gravy is very flavorful and the meat is fork tender. Would be good served with rice also.

Once again Paula has outdone herself! This was a little time-consuming but well worth the effort. Instead of serving with the grits I cooked some couscous instead. Also, what surprised me was the enhanced flavor it had with the hot sauce. Normally, I don't use hot sauce as I hate really spicy, hot foods.

I have made these several times and my family thinks they are great! Just the right amount of spiciness and very tasty! Yhey are also good over rice if you do not care for grits. Give them a try!
