This is a great alternative to fajitas (which I love. I've made it a couple of times and everyone (including really young kids LOVE it! I also didn't pre-make the sandwiches. Instead I created a "make your own sandwich bar" which is fun for the kids and the adults as well. The yogurt sauce was a big hit (especially my 2-year-old neice who was dipping everything into it. I think that people really enjoy the "make your own" thing.

Fantastic recipe! All of the ingredients complimented each other perfectly. Only complaint was I wanted to stuff more into the pita than it wanted to hold! Loved it!

I made these pitas for my son's baptismal reception and they were a hit! I didn't pre-make them however, I had all the ingredients sitting out and each person could make their own. Everyone loved them!

I saw the recipe this morning on television and I had to make it.

I didnt do the yogurt mix, we just made the feta cheese, tomato, oregano, and olive oil mixture to add in it as a condiment.

I also used fresh oregano from my garden instead of the dried.

I served it with a side of potato salad and corn on the cob.

Everyone LOVED it! I almost didnt have enough to go around!

this was sooooooooo good! i made a couple adjustments. i put the olives into the tomato and feta cheese mixture and added a garlic clove to the chicken marinade. I also put a little hummus on the inside of the pita bread. it was delicious!

I made this recipe for dinner last night and it was AWESOME. I was pleasantly surprised with this dish. The grilled chicken has a great taste and I only marinated the chicken for 30 minutes at room temp....can't wait to taste the chicken after marinating it over night. It was easy to assemble and delightfully delicious. This recipe is a MUST have and a crowd pleaser. I will make this many many many many more times. Thank you Paula!!!!!!

As I was prepping all the seperate components I was taste tasting them each to my dissatisfation. I felt like this recipe was not going to be a hit,but after grilling my chicken and assembling everything together the flavors all melded perfectly. Paula does it again!!

I only marinaded the chicken for half an hour and it was SO surprisingly GOOD! Instead of making the yogurt and including bacon (although that sounds amazing I drizzled some balsamic vinegar inside the pitas once they were assembled, just to give it a little flavor and make me feel like I had sauce. Even with these changes it was an easy and delicious dinner that didn't leave me feeling weighed down.
