This recipe was very good. I have one son who does not like feta cheese by itself. He tried with feta and says it was great. He ate 3 pita sandwiches. My hubby says this is a keeper and not to wait 6 months before making it again.

You can also add a little hummus in the yogurt sauce for added protein, fiber and piazzas.

I made this for my family for dinner the other night and they loved it! Until recently I had been making 3 or 4 different dinners a night - which was ridiculous. This dinner was perfect! Everyone got to make it their own way and they're still asking for it. Great flavor combinations. Thank you Paula!

During vacation, had the teachers over for lunch. Served these open-faced w/o onions, sprouts. FABULOUS. Did all the grilling at 8:00 a.m. and warmed the chicken and breads just before serving. For two choices, also served Bobby Flay's grilled steak and cheddar cheese sandwiches on croissant. Couldn't have been a better luncheon. Still giving out the recipes.

Yes, a recipe from Paula Dean that actually seems healthy... At first, I thought the bacon was a way to make it unhealthy, but it adds a lot of flavor and you don't need more than half a slice per pita to get it. The walnuts in the dressing seemed strange at first, but the texture and flavor was excellent. This recipe is in my top 10.

We really enjoyed this sandwich and I forgot to get garlic so I used garlic powder and it worked fine. It is amazing flavor from the Chicken Marinade, which I let sit overight in the fridge and how the feta complements it so well. We can't wait to eat the leftovers! I will definitely be making this again.

this was amazing and pretty healthy too! Esp for paula!!
I used low fat feta and left out the walnuts. I also added some cucumbers and green onions.
this will be a regular on our weekly menu!
