As far as another reviewer, I am a native Southerner and I like differences from time to time. Paula does it well. Come on, there's only so many ways you can do chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, and cornbread.

I'm giving this 5 stars to counter-act "Anonymous". It appears they are not rating how this tasted, which isn't fair. Keep your comments about the show elsewhere. This is to review how the food tasted.

Lately Paula's show has begun to lose its Southern charm, and is looking like every other show on the Food Network. We, at least us Southerners, watch her show for down-home Southern cooking. Paula needs to stop listening to her New York editors and get back to her Southern roots! If we wanted a Middle Eastern recipe, we'd look elsewhere.
