one of our summer favorites! we don't doctor the dressing--and we also *don't* use it all. it's way too much for the amount of greens suggested. sliced almonds make a nice substitute if you're not a fan of pecans (which i'm not.

This was very easy to prepare and a nice change from our usual entrees. I'll definitely make it again when peaches are in season -- mine were mushy and flavorless this time. No matter when you buy the peaches, get them firm, because my soft ones fell apart on the grill. I had mild blue cheese instead of feta and it worked great.
    Three things I would change:
    1. Toast the pecans for more flavor. I did this while I was cutting the peaches and I can't imagine it being nearly as good without that step.
    2. Add a little sugar to the dressing. As someone already said, it's a little bitter without it.
    3. Don't use all the dressing! Without thinking, I dumped most of the dressing in the bowl before tasting and it was way, way too much! There's already a good bit of moisture from the peaches and the wilting of the lettuce. Using too much dressing just makes it an oily mess.

This salad is so yummy but I had to doctor up the dressing with some sugar and white wine vinegar. It was too bitter before! I used glazed pecans and white peaches. Mouthwatering!
