Looking for the recipe for the fried grits cakes which were served with the Tilapia. Would love to try them.

Where is the recipe for the grit cakes that were plated with the tilapia during this episode?
P.S. We had dinner at The Lady and Sons last year - loved it, especially the fried chicken!

wow!!! excellent sauce. I added all the ingredients for the sauce in smaller amounts, all I can say is excellent. Added less vinegar and a lil extra brown sugar. Paula Deen never lets you down.

After reading all the reviews, I started out with half the oil and vinegar. Outstanding. Everyone loved it. Next time I will use only 1/8c of vinegar because the kids said there was a twang. I figure if I cut more vinegar, they will enjoy it as much I the adults do.

I thought this recipe was really easy and super delicious! Paula did not fail me! Seriously, my boyfriend was licking the plate the sauce was so good.

I looked at the comments below and agreed that it tasted fine without the apple cider vinegar. Also, HALF THE RECIPE for the sauce! It makes a ton and now I'm not sure what to use the rest for!

This was fabulous! I would continue to make this as is. I had no problems with the vinegar. Makes too much for one meal. Next time I will half recipe.

I also halved the recipe, and still had too much BBQ sauce. I agree that it's a little too vinegary, but I think you can take the idea of using peaches in BBQ sauce and alter the rest to taste!

Outstanding sauce. I did alter it the 2nd time I made the sauce though. I added only a 1/3 cup each of the vinegar and the oil. I also used a Dijon mustard instead of a regular yellow.
I made pulled pork sandwiches with this sauce the second time around and it was awesome!

Reading the reviews, I found no similar issues with the vinegar (I hope I added the vinegar-can't remember now or oil. We liked this sauce very much. I did decide to cook the fish in a cast iron pan rather than on a grill pan (easier cleanup and found that next time, and there WILL be a next time, I'll put the sauce on after the fish is cooked. The color of the sauce made it difficult for me, inexperienced at cooking fish, to know when the fish was done. But we liked the sauce, froze what was left, and feel it will be wonderful on chicken or pork.

Per other user suggestions, halved the recipe and used a quarter of the oil. Had plenty leftover sauce after use on 4 Tilapia filets. Used frozen filets dethawed in milk, patted dry and seasoned with cajun spice mix and threw on the grill. Rave reviews from 4 different palates. I typically don't like BBQ sauce, but this was a hit!
