    My husband and I have visited New Orleans twice, and no gumbo that we had while we were there compares to this recipe. Plus, it was so easy to prepare. I used frozen okra, and it worked beautifully. Paula, your recipes rock!

    I saw Paula making this on a show a while ago and thought we should try it out. We LOVE this recipe. And we've made it for our friends and they agree that it's EXTREMELY tasty! We can always count on our favorite Southern "Bell" cook!

    This was a delicious gumbo. My husband and I loved it and there was enough to have left overs the next night! Very yummy! Great recipe!

    This was absolutely delicious and easy to make. I served it in a bowl with a scoop of white rice in the middle. The only suggestion I'd have is to add a little hot sauce if you want more of a "kick".
