My husband and I had this for dinner tonight using chicken breast and we loved it.

This is my new favorite way to have chicken! I had never fried chicken before, but this was so easy. My picky son could not get enough of this sweet stuff and my huband barely spoke he was enjoying it so much. He just kept nodding, chewing and smiling! The sauce is so good I am going to try it on porkchops. Thanks Paula for sharing Gussie's recipe....we just love it!

My family couldn't even eat it...way to sweet and way to many nuts. I guess we just like plain ole fried chicken

This fried chicken was the absolute best fried chicken I have ever cooked. I saw the show on 8/15/05 and decided to make it that same night. My husband and children could not get enough. It was so good that my husband, Michael called his sister and we had to take some over to her and her family. They loved it. The pecan-honey glaze over the chicken reminded me of eating one of my favorites, chicken and waffles. I really loved that this recipe was simply and fast to prepare. The chicken fried so pretty and crisp and when topped with the glaze it was as tasty to the eyes as it was to the mouth. I love you and your show Paula. Keep doing what you do, from my finger-lickin' kitchen to yours.

This chicken was heavenly. If you have a sweet tooth, Gussie's fried chicken will cure it. it was easy to make and very delicious!
