Excellent Dish! With fussy eaters around the table, I served the sauce on the side. We added the sauce over the chicken at the plate level. I ended up with some leftover sauce thinking I could serve over simple oven baked sweet potatoes/yams! This recipe is wonderful and versatile! Thank you for sharing Paula!

It was my turn to fix dinner tonight. My wife said this fried chicken was better than hers. The grandkids love her chicken. Tonight, they also loved this one better. Some used the dip on the side, others put it on the chicken from the beginning. I also wanted to let you know that this was the first time I ever fried chicken. It was so easy.
Thanks for the this recipe. It made my night.

This was easy to make and looks beautiful. We were disappointed in the flavor though. The texture of the chicken was great but the glaze just didn't taste like I wanted it too.

    I think I'll try oliver_ec1's version sometime. :

One of my favorite recipes ever! I remember the first time I tried this recipe, I was looking for a recipe to mimic a popular wings place in MA, called "Wing it." They have these honey garlic parmesan wings that cost an arm and a leg, but are still worth the money. I use this recipe as a copy cat recipe and no longer go to Wing It as a result. I whisk about 4 rough chopped garlic cloves instead of pecans in with the butter and honey and remove them once my glaze is done. Then I hit the wings with the honey garlic glaze, dried oregano (for color, flavor profile, and grated parmesan (freshly grated when available. Thank you Paula, for sharing.

Awesome recipe! The chicken itself was great, but the with the glaze, my taste buds went crazy!! The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I used walnuts instead of pecans, but I'm sure either doesn't matter!!

After trying other fried chicken recipes and getting dissappointed we tried this one and it was delicious, it's going to be a favourite of ours from now on.
We had friends for dinner and we all ate way too much as it was so good.
This recipe is simple, easy and the result is so much more then just the ingredients you put into it.

For a single guy waiting for smoke detectors to signal food is ready, Paula I try not to drool on my TV. YOUR food groups are welcome in Alaska, especially this fried chicken - it looks so crispy and the oozing sauce over it makes me smile alot!

This is the second time I made this recipe, except didn't make the glaze; just fried the chicken according to recipe. The chicken is moist and tender. The coating is crunchy. Perfect for my picky eaters!
