As always,Paula has done it again, these are great and so easy, I did however, add ranch mix to the cream cheese. They were soooooo good. Paula you're the greatest.

I made these for my family expecting them to be a big hit based on the previous reviews and the fact that our kids LOVE pickles. They were on the wet side (if I were to make them again I would try to pat some of the moisture off the pickles and ham, and they weren't as fun as I thought they would be. The flavor of the pickle took over and you barely tasted the ham and cream cheese. They might be OK to make for kids but I would never serve these to grown ups.

i love this recipe but i like to put a packet of the dry ranch and mix it in with the cream cheese before i spread it - it's amazing!! i took them to a christmas party recently and everyone loved them!

They are not elegant or fancy, but they are delicious, and no matter what type of function you are taking them to, they will be a big hit. I have been making these for years (sometimes substituting the pickle with a green onion and everyone loves them.

These are very tasty. Personally I love all the ingredients already. I use baby dills and pat the ham dry for easier spreading. If it's cut too thin, ham will tear - cream cheese has to be room temp. Delish! Always a big hit they go like hot cakes - just pop em right in your mouth. But, sort a pain in the culo to make!

I've made these many times, and people can't stop eating them. Instead of pickles you can also use green onions. They're both great!

I made this for my husband's office Christmas party. Instead of using plain cream cheese, I used chive and onion flavored cream cheese. And, instead of using dill pickles, I used sweet gherkin pickles. It was delicious and a huge hit at the party!!
