This was so good and so easy to make! I used Paula's method but changed quite a bit to make it more figure friendly.....I used 2% milk cheese and fat free half and half and brumle and brown instead of butter and that WAY reduced the fat and calories. I used deli ham b/c I already had it in the fridge. I also added tomatoes and cayenne pepper. Next time I will make individual servings in pot pie pans so everyone can add their own ingredients.

I have a gluten allergy so I was really excited about this. It was wonderful! I added a tbl fresh thyme and mushrooms. I didn't have half & half and only skim free milk but usually have fat-free condensed milk on hand. I used the condensed milk and it was perfect, so that really cut down on the fat and calories. Thanks Paula for a great idea.

I made this for dinner and it was great! I used fresh mushrooms, scallions and red pepper and swiss cheese. I actually made a 13 x 9 pan and doubled the recipe for everything. My Honey just loved it. It was a light and tasty. I would make it again. I can't wait to have a brunch so I can make it for everyone.

We used cooked drained Jimmy Dean spicy sausage for the meat since it's my husband's favorite for bkfst. and also, added small dice green pepper and sliced mushrooms.

I found this by searching. Didn't see Paula put it together, but sounded so good had to try it. It went together great.I don't believe in "tweaking" a recipe the first time. But, I was out of cream, (used 1% milk and extra eggonion ( omitted, green pepper (used reddidn't hurt it one bit. It was so good brother-in-law (single fellow took the leftovers (wasn't too much, just enough for one for his breakfast the next day, husband thought it was great, too. Whenever I try something new we decide if it is a keeper of not. This was a keeper Thanks, Paula for something different, easy, fast and good.

I added mushrooms, onions and tomatoes and used applewood smoked bacon rather than ham. Added a few extra eggs and reduced the cream a bit. The hash browns were so much better than crust and I'd have never thought of using them in a million years!
