I found this recipe to be very good, however my hash brown did not get golden like they did when I watched Paula's show.
I used the refrigerated brand called Simply Potatoes, they are made from fresh potatoes.
I am going to keep trying this recipe with
different ingredients, it is that good!

I varied this recipe a bit, instead of cooked ham I used deli ham, instead of scallions, I used asparagus and instead of chedder cheese I used mexican shredded cheese ( a combo of 4 different cheeses I also used egg beaters instead of regular eggs and I used finely chopped italian parsley(put into the mixture prior to baking and as a garnish I also added a few sprinkles of tabasco sauce as a finish which gives the quiche a bit more pizzazz. Overall the quiche came out eggcellently and full of upscale comfort. I can't wait to try a variation with crab or lobster. It was very simple to prepare and will be in my recipe file for future use when we have breakfast company.

My daughter just had braces put on & she's on a soft diet... this quiche was the perfect combo -- eggs, ham, cheese!! She really enjoyed it. My husband had never tried quiche & he loved the combination. Way to go, Paula!
