Very good. This is the first time I've tried hens. I can't believe how easy this was!

Have been making this dish for several years now. Smaller birds, whole chicken, turkey. Never have any leftovers - it's all gone by the end of dinner! The bird looks like it just came out of the photo shoot from a food show, beautiful! For people who didn't like it, try to really keep it marinated overnight, cooking time may be adjusted according to your stove. Mine is always slightly over one hour for hens.

Been making this dish for the past three years. i even use it on a larger bird on Thanksgiving and its a hit. It was a little difficult the first time but I'm a pro at it now.

Made these for a dinner when the in-laws came to town. The kids always love to have their own bird in front of them. Everyone seemed to like them. I'd never made game hens before and although this recipe was a little difficult for the 1st timer, I would surely use it again now that I know what I'm doing!

This definitely wasn't the best game hen recipe I've tried. I did like the way the orange flavor seeped into all the meat of the hen, but overall the recipe was marginal enough that I don't think we will be making it again.

These tasted very average and took considerably longer to cook than 1 hour even though I placed the hens in a preheated oven at room temperature. This makes sense because every time the oven is opened to baste every 15 minutes, the oven cools down. So the rest of my food had to be reheated and pretty much ruined the quality of my dinner. Was disappointed.

My husband and I both loved this dish. I only used 2 cornish hens because its just me and my husband, but used what the recipe called for, for the remainder of the dish. I have made this several times and plan to make it many more times.

If you like Asian flavors, you will love this marinade! For those of you who didn't see the TV show, Paula added some of her house seasoning to the birds. And she thickened the drippings in the pan with some cornstarch and served it with the birds.
Since I can't find Paula's house seasoning in my store, next time I am going to add some Chinese five spice powder. I will also use a low sodium soy sauce since the reduced sauce is pretty salty. I'm also going to put pieces of orange and maybe some cilantro in the cavity.
Thanks, Paula! Love the show!
