    I was very disappointer in this recipe. Not with the taste (it was great, but with the number of servings. The recipe states it will serve 8-10. NOT! I was lucky to get 5 servings out of it. Unless this was meant as a side dish, the recipe means to be modified.

    I have a similar recipe-orange juice instead of lemon juice, add chopped water chestnuts and top with either Durkee Fried Onions or chow mein noodles. I love eating the leftovers cold. Everyone loves this.

    This tasted pretty much like I thought it would. I toasted the almonds before cooking. It was not bad but needed something. Next time Ii make it I might add some sliced green onions for both flavor and color. After a few bites I added chopped chives which helped with the color but didn't add much flavor.

    we made this casserole loved it,but to be honest we are on a low carb diet and we were able to low carb this recipe and made it add up to 8 carbs,god bless you paula because i watch your show everyday so i can find a recipe that we can do that to. we eat your recipes and low crb them, we feel like we are eating out. my grown children who live with me say oh,paulas on were going to get another recipe.

    I made this hot chicken salad and served it with ritz crackers as an appetizer. Everyone loved it. Easy recipe to use. I think next time I'm going to try it with BBQ chips. I did cut back on the salt but that was because I used smoked almonds that were already salted & the chips had salt.

    I don't know if it's something I did or what but this recipe turned out a bit too salty for my likings. I think next time I will not add salt or if I do a very little amount. Overall it was a good and easy meal! I sauteed the celery with some red onions and it was delicous! I love the almonds in it! I will definitely make this again! Maybe next time i will try with sour cream...

    I have yet to find a Paula recipe that I havent liked!!! My mother in law makes this dish often and for a family of picky eaters to boot, everyone loves it. I recently made it and think it turned out great, I added in a small diced onion for more flavor but other than that I left perfection alone.
    I think the people who said too much mayo used canned chicken instead of the real deal, dont skimp on the chicken breast, canned chicken absorbs the mayo rather than coats it and can make it seem greasy. Thanks Paula for another great one!

    After making this according to the recipe, the second time I changed a few things for my family's taste. I toasted the almonds in a dry pan. Then I sauteed the celery in the pan. Finally, I topped the casserole with canned onion rings because I didn't have the potato chips. 5 stars!
