I have made this recipe twice for football games and it has been gone by the end of the half. I use a little extra garlic and extra cheese(my preference and a little less mayo. Always gets great reviews.

I made this dip for my niece's bday party, it was really good but it was just a little greasy. I think it might have been the mayo, so I think I'll try less mayo and add a little cream cheese. Overall it was a good dip. Paula hasn't steered me wrong yet ;

Not good. Served this at a Super Bowl party and no one liked it. I made exactly from the recipe. The flavors just don't combine for a good taste. Also, it is not creamy and rich as I expect a crab dip to be and I think it is too much crab. I am surprised that this recipe is a 4 star recipe.

yuck, and definitely not a hit at the party either. It was actually too much crab...

I make this all the time and I never make enough. It is always gone in minutes. I did mod the receipe to my liking but the base receipe is solid. I never follow a receipe exactally as it is unless I am baking.
Obviously if you have a problem with salt you should cut back on the Worcestershire. Also instead of dry mustard I use a very small amount of dijon. Another good receipe from Paula in my opinion.

I have never tried a Paula Deen recipe I didn't like but this one did not meet my expectations. I made the recipe exactly as it called for and it was just okay. I served it in a crock pot to keep it hot and a few people ate some at the party, but it lacked something that I couldn't put my finger on. The fact that I came home with most of it spoke volumes to me. Doubt I will fix it again.

If you watch the video you will notice paula only adds one tablespoon of worcestershire sauce not three like it says in the recipe. Since thats what i saw i did that and it turned out fine. I also did half mayo and half cream cheese and added an extra garlic clove. The flavor was good but the crab i used should have been fresher which affected my dip. I imagine with fresh crab this would be a great dip.

I was pleased with the recipe. However, I did substitute the mayo with cream cheese and I used half the about of worcestershire sauce.

It was OK. Was not worth the amount of money the crab was. Would have rather ate the crab on on it's own with butter.
