Excellent served it cold because I live in a hot climate, and added some additional spices and frozen cranberries for garnish!

I made this today for my co-workers. It was a big hit and gone well before the end of the day. I made it in my crockpot and the wonderful smell permeated our hallway. It was really nice to have a hot drink on a cold day.

I'm not a cider person but with this cold weather it sounded very tempting and I love cranberry.. You wont regret it!! The aroma was awesome..It smelled like Christmas in my house..The cider is either great with or without the alcohol.. and I tried both!! THANKS PAULA!! HAPPY2009 HOLIDAYS

When the holidays roll around the corner my husband and I look forward to the neat alcoholic beverage recipes to try. Unfortunately, this year I was unable to do that because I'm pregnant with our second child. So I wanted another alternative to make that would be full of flavor and good for baby. And this hot cranberry cider did the trick! It was so good and simple to make that I ended up drinking a whole pitcher to myself for Thanksgiving. Thanks Paula!

I think I'll make it again but either reduce the cloves or leave them out completely. Otherwise, pretty good.
