I substituted 12 oz cream cheese for the mayonnaise as I'm allergic to eggs. Added 1 TBSP fresh lemon juice, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1/2 small onion minced, 1 tsp fresh ground white pepper and this dip rocked!! Made it for a graduation party, doubled the recipe -- and it was gone in one hour!

Yummy! I added about a tablespoon of lemon juice, a teaspoon of garlic powder, half a teaspoon of onion powder, and a sprinkling of salt and pepper to the mix. Instead of Pepper Jack I used an Italian cheese blend that I had on hand. My daughter is difficult to please, and she ate it right up.

A friend used this recipe for a party she was hosting and it was great. She added a few red pepper flakes because she loves things spicy and it was good. It wasn't overpowering at all. I will definately use this recipe.

Remarkable! I love this recipe so much! I made it yesterday with my mom and we both loved the taste. Thanks!! We will be making this again on my dad’s birthday. Hope he likes it! We also tried the recipes at gourmandia and gourmetrecipe and the outcome turned what we imagined, the cuisines are mouth-watering. Take time to glance those sites for more interesting recipes.

please fix this recipe ... I spent so much money on the ingredients only to find out it is not creamy nothing of a "dip" consistency and taste bland. terrible and all my money wasted.

Didn't do it for me. Individually, the ingredients are great, but together, in the amounts listed on the recipe it was too overwhelmingly defrosted spinach.

I really love the bases of the recipe, but I've tweaked it some over. I only use one can of quartered artichoke hearts. I know that there's a lot of fat in the way that Paula makes it, so where I can trim it, I do (i.e. the mayo and sour cream. I use low-fat or fat free versions. I do know that Greek yogurt is a good and healthier alternative, so that's my next challenge! The best I can say, is tweak things to make it your own. I love the pepper jack on top for a little bite of heat!

Tried many different recipes for this dip. This was the worst one I tried.
