please fix this recipe ... I spent so much money on the ingredients only to find out it is not creamy nothing of a "dip" consistency and taste bland. terrible and all my money wasted.

Didn't do it for me. Individually, the ingredients are great, but together, in the amounts listed on the recipe it was too overwhelmingly defrosted spinach.

I really love the bases of the recipe, but I've tweaked it some over. I only use one can of quartered artichoke hearts. I know that there's a lot of fat in the way that Paula makes it, so where I can trim it, I do (i.e. the mayo and sour cream. I use low-fat or fat free versions. I do know that Greek yogurt is a good and healthier alternative, so that's my next challenge! The best I can say, is tweak things to make it your own. I love the pepper jack on top for a little bite of heat!

Tried many different recipes for this dip. This was the worst one I tried.

This was a really good dip. Ive made it like 3 times already. The first time I made them was for a bible study group for my mom. They devoured it. (I think thats how u spell it I made it a couple of other times and I couldnt stop eating it. I added shrimp the last time. It was a half a pound but a full pound is needed to really taste the shrimp. Store bought pita chips are I think the best thing to use to eat it. I believe the brand was Stacy's. Thanks Paula!

This recipe is always delicious for me. I believe the key is to make certain that you squeeze out absolutely all of the water possible from the spinach.

I am asked to make this dip at every get together.... My tip is to use the recipe as is and add 2 cloves minced garlic, chop up a small can of water chestnuts, and mix in some mozzarella cheese. This adds some great flavor and texture :

I usually love Paula's stuff but we just didn't care for this. I was expecting a creamy dish and may try it again but will add more wet ingredients.
