I thought this recipe was very good. I actually added 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper and 6 small cloves of roasted garlic to it, and I think that helped a lot. Next time I make it, I will add 1/2 tsp. of cayenne pepper and more roasted garlic.

I tried this recipe for my family's 2nd annual New Year's Eve party and it was a huge hit. It was so simple to put together and I had all the ingredients on hand in my pantry and fridge. By the end of the party the dip was almost gone. Leave it to Ms. Deen to create such a fabulous and easy dip to make in a pinch. Not to mention delicious. I'll definitely continue to use this recipe for a long time to come!!!:

I made this dip for a Christmas party that I was attending, and it was great! Although I did take headto the helpful reviews(some people don't have nice things to say and should get a hobbyand tweeked the recipe. I added 2 packages chopped spinach, 1 can processed artichoke, 3/4 cup mayo & sour cream (you want this dip to be nice and creamy and the parmesan and 24oz of the pepperjack cheese, which I mixed in instead of leaving on top. I also added some minced garlic. IT WAS PERFECT. Everyone told me it was the best artichoke dip they ever had. This recipe alotted plenty to take to the party, plus some to put into a Ziploc baggie the freezer for quick snacks if you are waching a movie or if an unexpected guest comes by and you want a quick snack. It is truly delicious. Thank you for the base recipe, Paula! I will make the collard green wontons next! For Superbowl!!
