I have been making this for years. Love it ! I have always added a small can of diced green chilies and thought that was part of the recipe ( I have been making it so long I don't have the original recipe. I mix whatever cheese I have. It's all good!

I liked this a lot! I used fresh spinach b/c that's what I had, and my sour cream was bad, so I had to use low fat plain yogurt. I did add a smidge of onion powder and garlic powder after reading other reviews and knowing I like a lot of flavor. I'm giving it 4 starts, not 5, due to how much it rocks *with* the spices. I will use this again.

I have made this appetizer many times. I put half of the cheese into the spinach, artichoke, mayo, and sour cream mixture before pouring into a baking dish. I then sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top. This dish is always a favorite--never any left to take home. Easy, filling, tastes great.

This is the BEST spin-art dip EVER!!! Full of flavor even when prepared with low fat hellmans and light sour cream and served with baked tostitos!!! Way better than o'charleys spin-art dip!! Its always a hit!

I have made this dip for years and it has always been devoured at every event. UNfortunately, I recently went on a low fat low carb diet...WELL, victory is mine!! I substituted Fage Greek yogurt for the sour cream (no fat, low carb, and lots of protein and Olive Oil mayo for the regular mayo. I decreased the parmesan to 1/2 cup and used it mainly on top. It is so close to the real thing I almost blew it by eating half the dish. Now I can enjoy my favorite dip without the guilt-thanks for the inspiration, Paula!

If you're like me, you want EASY and TASTY! Avoid having the hassle of using food processor by buying marinated and pre-flavored artichoke hearts in a jar (don't get the canned – those taste like metal!. Just roughly chop w/ a knife. Mix the first set of ingredients as the recipe suggests BUT before adding in sour cream and mayo, sprinkle garlic powder (about 1/2 tbsp, pinch of kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, small pinch of Cayenne red pepper (less than 1/4 tsp & small pinch of nutmeg powder (less than 1/4 tsp. Add in sundried tomatoes (chopped for more flavor. Now add sour cream and mayo. Mix in Parmesan cheese and for MORE CHEESY, add about 3/4's cup of Gruyere & Swiss Cheese and 3/4's cup of Pepper Jack cheese. Gently mix. Sprinkle some more Pepper Jack cheese & about 1/4 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese ON TOP to cover the casserole dish. Before serving, “carefully” place under the broiler for less than 2 minutes or until the cheese on top is slightly golden brown.

Me and my boyfriend have made this twice and absolutely love it. It's pretty easy to put together, especially if you own a food processor for the artichokes. Terrific for football watching, thank you Paula Deen for this home run. Better than a restaurant IMHO.

This recipe is great but you have to add garlic to it. At least 1 grated clove. Otherwise it is bland. Also, instead of the pepperjack, I add regular jack and some hot sauce.

I make a similar dip but use swiss cheese. It is always a favorite at parties.
