Normally I would have probably given this 3 stars, but I had to give it 4 because for how EASY and QUICK it was, the taste was GOOD!!! Of course I had no Cream of Chicken soup or Bisquick on hand (which I always do...lol!, so I used A can of Chicken gravy and some refrigerated rolls of biscuits I had...and it was good. I spice up everything I make, so I put some roasemary and thyme in with the gravy. It really was good...took about 10 minutes to prepare, a few more to bake and only seconds for the kids to chow down...a "cheap keeper", esp for leftover chicken!

I made this dish over the weekend and I got rave reviews and no left overs. I now have to make this dish 2 or more times a month per my husband. In which I have no problem doing! Thanks Paula!

Excellent! I did make some adjustments which made it turn out wonderful. I sauted the carrots and peas with onions. I also added a pinch of cayenne pepper to the soup mixture and biscuit mix. Yummy! I only used 1/4 stick of melted butter on top and it was just fine.

Have just put the pie in the oven, thanks to all of you who posted the "mix soup" information.
Thank you so much for clarifying the instructions.

This was so quick and easy but very delicious! I cooked the boneless chicken breasts in olive oil & Montreal chicken seasoning. I didn't remember the chicken broth from the show, and the soup did look TOO thick so I just added a very generous splash of milk. It came out perfect. I also used a package of mixed frozen veggies (cooked ahead of time and left out the eggs because I thought that was a bit odd. I did have to cook longer than indicated in order for the biscuit mix to cook completely, so watch out for that. I commend the folks who didn't use all the butter recommended, but I am afraid Paula has rubbed off on me and I used every bit of it. YUM! I will definitely make this again and again.

This is great with left over chicken or turkey. The ingredients take minutes to put together then 30 mins in the oven and you have perfect chicken pot pie.
You can just add a cup of frozen mixed vegetables in place of the egg, peas and carrots and it's even more simple.

This is okay if you don't have time for a homemade chicken pot pie, but it's just missing something and dry.

This was so simple, but the taste was great. I usually cut the amount of butter by half, and the crust was still nice and crispy. I also left out the eggs, my kids wouldn't have eaten those. The whole family ate it up. Thanks again to Paula Deen!
