    It was awesome. I tweeked it to make it really a hurry up chicken pot pie. I used 2 bags of microwave mixed corn,peas & carrots,a bag of microwave roasted garlic potatoes,and an already cooked rotisserie chicken. In a pan heated the cream of chicken,chicken broth, and I had to make more liquid, so I used McCormick chicken base dissolved in a cup of hot water(I almost double this part of recipe & the amount of chicken to make enough for my family & then added this to the cream of chicken/chicken broth mixture. Stirred it until heated through, added Mrs. Dash garlic and herb seasoning or whatever seasoning you like. Microwave vegtables for 2 minutes less than the recommened time. Put vegtables in a medium sized casserole add the cream of chicken mixture as well as the chicken,then top with the pie crust. Bake at 350 for 30-40.It really saved on the prep time,which is a big deal to me since I don't get home until 7:00 pm to start dinner.

    I love this recipe! I have made it several times. I usually use what I have on hand for the vegetables, but I always use the fresh carrots. It's a great meal to make with your left over chicken from a roasted chicken. I look forward to this pot pie as much as I do the roasted chicken. It's great!

    I've made this twice now, and this recipe is definitely a keeper! I found the previous reviews very helpful and combined suggestions of different reviewers. If you're looking for a list of revisions, here is what I followed:
    1. I did not use hard boiled eggs.
    2. I used shredded rotissere chicken.
    3. I chopped up fresh carrots. Used frozen peas (That were slightly dethawed. Added some chopped onion. And Ore-Ida frozen chopped potatoes.
    *I didn't have any problems with the vegetables being too hard, but I also cooked the pot pie for about 50 min. Both times I made the recipe it seemed to take that long for the biscuit topping to cook thoroughly.
    4. I used the Healthy Request Cream of Chicken Soup and only added about 1/2 c. of the chicken broth.
    5. I cut the butter in half. You might be able to use even less, I cannot imagine this dish with a full stick of butter. #Yikes ;

    OMG why all that butter. I think it prevented the bisciut topping from fluffing up. So much butter that it was swimming in the chicken mixture as well as on top of the crust. I did make it again without the hard boiled eggs - i added corn instead - and used 1 cup bisquick, 1/2 cup milk and 1 egg for the topping. I also cut the chicken broth to 1/2 a cup. It was much better than the original recipe, yet still not as good as a pastry crust - of course!

    OMG!!!! My family loved this. I will have to say I used frozen veggies because I didn't have any peas and there was no difference in the taste. I will be making this again, and again.

    This tastes amazing and was a big hit with the family! I left out the eggs and added a little more of the chicken soup mixture and the biscuit mix. I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper and onion powder. Also used a bag of frozen mixed veg. This was super easy and quick to make! I'm going to try turkey with it the next time.

    Incredible recipe, found it looking for my wife's craving for some "comfort food". Had to improvise a little, used a standard biscuit recipe with a little extra milk, and had to substitute cream of mushroom. For a little extra spice experimented with cooking the chicken with a little rosemary..Amazing. Great recipe, easy to make, I did have to cook it about 15 minutes longer, but I think that was due to not using Biscuit mix. Will definately be a repeat performance soon!
