My husband does not like chicken pot pie,but I think he ate about half of this one in one sitting. It was really easy to make and tasted great. I would make this again. For sure. I did not change a thing except to microwave the carrots for 3-4 minutes. Paula - you are the best!!!

I LOVED this recipe! It was so quick and tasty. My picky 5 year old loved it and ate every bit on his plate plus more.

This was an easy recipe to follow, and it was tasty!! It's a nice easy alternative to pot pie! I added potatoes & an onion to the recipe but I don't think it was needed. Looking at the comment below, I did sauté the carrots & potato in olive oil, and I think that was the right move. Would make it again.

This chicken pot pie is amazing!!! It's easy as ... well, pie : And it tastes sooooo good. I usually make it as a "second" recipe in the week - I bake extra chicken earlier, and then I use the leftovers.
My husband was skeptical of the biscuit topping, so we tried using puff pastry instead once. It didn't work. There's something magical about the biscuit topping that brings the whole dish together.
Like everyone else says, though - it's watery and takes a lot longer to cook. Next time I'll try reducing the both and maybe defrosting my frozen veggies.
Thanks, Paula, for making one of my favorite comfort foods so easy and accessible for a busy mom to make!

This Chicken Pot Pie was easy to make and even better my husband and 14 month old son loved it! I was a little apprehensive about using the eggs, but trusted Paula and went with it and they are surprisingly good (I chopped the eggs into tiny pieces. Instead of the veggies the recipe calls for, I substituted a defrosted bag of frozen mixed veggies (Carrots, Peas, Corn, Green Beans and used only half the butter which turned out wonderful. My only complaint would be that after the first 40 minutes, the crust was still not browned. I cranked the oven to 400 and added an additional 20-30 minutes which worked out fine. I'll definitely make this recipe again and can't wait to try new ingredients like rice/potatoes/cheddar biscuit mix. Thanks, Mrs. Dean!

I LOVED IT!!! I put mashed potatoes in the bottom on the pan (after I greased it of course and then I mixed the chicken, egg and veggies with the soup mix and put it on top of the potatoes and then the biscuit mix on top of that... It was amazing! My family loved it too!!!

I LOVE this recipe and make it quite often. A few things I've changed. I defrost a bag of frozen mixed veggies, otherwise they come out too cold. For the chicken, I take the meat from a grocery store rotisserie chicken that's already prepared. I used garlic cheddar biscuit mix and put in a few more eggs (SO GOOD. I also don't use a whole stick butter on the top, but I do a little bit of spray butter to help brown the biscuit topping. My husband loves this meal and in fact we're making it tonight! I can't wait!

I decided not to put in the hard boiled egg but added rice and onion instead and it was delicious. Also i only put a couple small pieces of butter on top instead of a whole stick (which seems like way too much. This is a very easy recipe and can be customized to your family's taste.

I thought this was terrible! The carrots came out raw still and the entire casserole was WAY too watery and the butter on top was entirely too much. I think if I make it again I will precook the carrots, throw in some precooked potatoes, and go half on the butter and broth.
