    Easy, Easy. Easy.
Don't worry about the older comments about the amount of flour - the recipe has been corrected. Did I say YUM!

WIth this biscuit recipe, the sweetness is just right! After the sweet delicious strawberries and the sweet homemade whip cream , the balance of the biscuit is perfect. I made this for my husband, my sister, and my brother-in-law, and its a good thing that this made 8 servings becuase then we could have seconds : Everything was easy to make, as I have never made biscuits before... but I will definitely make them again! Thanks Paula!!!

the recipe was great. I had never made any kind of bicuit before these and you would never tell. I made some minor changes/ additions

    -Wheat flour instead of white.
-i added a little cinnamon to the dry mix ( i heart cinnamon about a teaspoon
-I put brown sugar on top before i put them in the oven.
    - i used blueberries as well as strawberries

It was perfect. I hope this helps because im definately a person who reads thru the reviews first.

These were DELISH! I made these tonight for my family, and everyone loved it! Even one of my daughters... who doesn't really like strawberry shortcake. This was a better recipie than my Grandmas! And hers is pretty tasty... I used fresh strawberries, and made my own whip cream. mmmmm! I made it very pretty, just WOW! I will continue to use this recipie for sure! Thanks Paula! :

This is one of the best shortcake recipes I have ever tried...will keep it to use all of the time. Great with a mix of berries. Very pretty. Must have the whipped cream to make it ust perfect. Enjoy all of your recipes as they are so easy to make. Have a couple of your tea time recipes that i am using for our 60th anniversay Sept. 18. we are expecting about 200 people.
Sometime explain the different oven racks to use, would be appreciated very much. Thank you so much

Great shortcake recipe. I had not made it before, but have made biscuits many times so it is very similar. The addition of the cream ( I used half and half made the shortcake very moist and creamy. Get yourself some good naturally sweet strawberries and whip up some fresh cream and it is just delightful. This is a really easy dessert to pull together and it will impress.

    Good grief!

I read reviews. Forgot to add the sugar, didn't have half & half.

What I did have, was Vanilla flavored coffee creamer, creamora.

So the creamer worked fine, the sweetness of the creamer made up somewhat for the sugar I forgot to add.

    All is well.

    P.S.

don't tell your hubby if he is picky!

I forgot the sugar in the shortcake dough! DUH! I just flaked but I tried to compensate by using sugar instead of flour to cut them out and added another tbsp to the strawberries.
