I'm not the most experienced cook, so when I saw how easy this recipe looked I had to try it. It is just as easy as it looks and twice as yummy. Thanks Paula!!!!

I stumbled over this recipe and had to try it. It was as easy at it seems and is fabulous! I used lots more carrots, a little extra chicken because my package had 5 breasts and threw in some al dente pasta. I simmered it for an extra hour too and it was super yummy. I'm going to try it with stew beef next time. Even my three year old ate it tonight!!

I made this tonight and used some squash my husband had grown and frozen. I added a can of Great Northern beans for a little extra fiber and the soup was very tasty and satisfying. The pre-seasoned tomatoes added so much flavor and made everything easy!

I was actually surprised by how good this soup ended up being. I've never cooked zucchini before and was a bit nervous but I was really pleased with the result. I'll definitely be making this again.

I saw this on her "souperdelicious" episode this week, and felt COMPELLED to try it. I read the reviews, and basically did everything extra that everyone suggested: added bacon drippings beforehand, added celery salt (pretty liberal use...I was afraid it was too salty, but no, garlic, broke up the spaghetti sticks and threw those in, threw in some flat-leaf parsley I had chopped up...suffice to say it was the best darn soup I've ever made. I have to admit I was concerned it wasn't flavorful enough, but the kosher salt and celery salt and pepper took care of that. Everyone loved it (including me...three bowls!...great soup Paula!

the recipe is easy and it is simple and quick to make. it tastes good but i wouldn't say that it's wow..I'll eat it the day that i make it but other than that i'm not usually excited about eating the leftovers the next day.

I cannot believe that I found a Paula Dean recipe that doesn't call for 2 sticks of butter! made this last night for supper and both my husband and I loved it. This recipe is definitely a keeper.
