I did not know what to cook for dinner. Took out chicken strips and just seasoned them with salt and black pepper. Looked up Food Network for a recipe and found this one. Truly amazing, delicious and so easy to put together. I made a marinara sauce to go with it and my son could not stop eating. The kitchen smelt divine. I had it for lunch the next dinner and my co-workers kept asking 'what is that you made last night'...the smell filtered through our office and it had everyone wanting the recipe. Great job Paula.

These are so easy and simple to make with such great taste that it kills me when people who think they can cook can't figure out how to make them properly. Here's a few hints: Turn them over half way through cooking, make sure your oven is heating to the proper temp, even turn up temp if needed because not all ovens cook alike, try inceasing the cooking time and for those who feel they are to spicy, then play with the measurements until you find what works best for you. This recipe was quick to throw together and delicious. However, as several others mentioned, my chicken strips did not get crunchy.

Despite the lack of crunch, the flavor was delicious and the butter kept the chicken incredibly moist. Even my picky toddler chowed down on this chicken dish.

I did find the flavor a bit strong so, personally, I would reduce the amount of oregano and thyme a bit.

This recipe is definitely a keeper.

    The chicken turned out fantastic!
A meal the whole family, including the picky 5 year-old, enjoyed.
    Thanks Paula

I have tried making these twice. Both times my family thought they were gross. The flavors were really overpowering, and the breading was mushy. And it's not like I can't cook; I have been cooking (very well, I might add for over 20 years.

Not a hit in my household.

...the bread crumbs didn't adhere very easily to the butter and they weren't as crunchy as I'd hoped. The flavor was delicious. If I were to make them again, I'd slather them in butter so the bread crumbs stick more thoroughly, and turn the chicken halfway through baking so that both sides bake evenly and have a chance to become as crunchy as they're gonna get. Love Paula!
