I didn't use shrimp or onions. I was low on ingredients, but it was still great!!

I prepared the rice mix on it's own before the meal. I used brown rice, all the spices, butter, & ck. stock to cook it - 1 hour. Then I added it to the jambalaya in addition with cooked chicken & Tony's creole seasoning. Let heat thru - about 20 minutes - the meal is thick and spicy and very good. Leftovers almost as good! Boyfriend was very happy - he's usually unenthused with Cajun/Creole cooking.

This is a wonderful recipe!!! I sauted chicken, fresh onion (instead of dried minced & celery and added it to the beginning. I also used some Tony's cajun spices instead of the cayenne pepper (didn't have any - it was very flavorful and not too spicy. My husband LOVED it!!! This is definitely a keeper.

This is by far the best recipe I have ever gotten from any place. My husband absolutely loves it and I honestly believe he would eat it once a week if I were to fix it.

This was sooooo YUMMY and EASY! I added fresh onion, green pepper, and celery along with chicken. The hubby loved it, the company loved it, the kiddos loved it! In fact, it is something I want to share SO much, I am going to make baskets with all the fixings in it and give it out for Christmas....nothing says I love you than a homemade dinner!

So good! I used extra shrimp and sausage. This made a very hearty meal with green beans on the side. We are fighting over the leftovers.

This jambalaya is easy to make and very good. I would call it more of a New Orleans/ Creole jambalaya because of the tomatoes; I grew up in the SW part of La. (cajun country, where we do not use tomatoes in ours. Next time I will use less salt. I substituted the shrimp for chicken because of shellfish allergies.

I made Paula Deen's Jambalaya recipe and it was amazing! Everyone who ate either wanted the recipe or for me to make for them again! I am going to make it for a Street Outreach dinner for the homeless this next week because one of the gentleman requested it! I honestly was afraid of Jambalaya - not being a southern girl - but it was wonderful and this recipe was easy too!
