This was my first sauce of the vinegar and pepper variety, and I have to say how easy it was to make! If you don't have time to let the flavors mingle overnight, I suggest opting for the powdered onion and garlic instead of using fresh... You will get all the flavor in a short amount of time. Wonderful recipe! Everyone loved the chops!

As everyone else said, the sauce is a bit more watery. However, I added a bit more Worcestershire, brown sugar and hot sauce than what the recipe called for plus I added 1 1/2 tsps of regular mustard and a couple drops of soy sauce. I marinated the chops ahead of time (about 2 hours and grilled. Continued to coat with a reserved cup of sauce and the chops had a great flavor PLUS had a great crust. Will definitely use again.

The flavor was good but use it for a marinade. It's way to watery for a sauce. I was disappointed.

This is a really good sauce but I think that I would use this recipe more for a marniade

This recipe is characteristic of south
eastern U.S.A. bbq. and is delicious if
you enjoy a vinegar flavor. We,in Texas, prefer a tomato-base and very spice driven
dry rub over slow coals before slopping it
with the wet. Your recipe was great when
our S. Carolina friends came to visit---
    we did east/west-- Great fun!!

As mentioned in other review, the sauce is thin, so I thickened it right from the start. Excellent BBQ sauce, hot to your mouth before cooking, but mellows nicely once cooked and adds extra juiciness!

Very good.. recommend letting sauce sit overnight at least. Also good with steak and veal.

I thought that this sounded great. But once I put it all together, it wasn't thick like I had expected. It was alittle disappointing, and didn't seem to be that flavorful.
