I was shocked at the outcome!! Quite simply OUTRAGEOUSLY DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!! It is now my most favorite desert. Not for the amateur cook, but it is worth it. Tart, creamy, not to sweet......... Making it again just for myself!!!!

Like Paula says, "it'll make you wanna slap yo mama!" My family doesn't care for lime so I did an easy raspberry mixture(frozen thawed raspberries, raspberry jam and sugar and used that instead and reserved some of it to drizzle on top on each piece. I forgot the gelatin at the store too and it turned out just fine, more than fine, DELICIOUS!!!

I made this for my peeps at work. They were in heaven! The recipe was very easy and it tasted like a piece of Florida. It disappeared in n instant.

This recipe was extremely easy and tasted fantastic. Smooth!
I didn't have graham crackers and substituted vanilla wafers
and it was great. Looked just like the television version so
I knew I was on the right track. Yum next time maybe with Meyer
lemons.

Oh my word! This taste awesome. I made this with my 6 year old granddaughter last Saturday and we got to taste it Sunday. It is like eating a lime cheesecake which I've never had before. You get the best of two worlds. Key Lime pie and Cheesecake. Only issue I had was when slicing it the crust wants to stick to pan. Maybe I'll try spraying it with a non-stick spray next time, and believe me, there WILL be a next time. Talk about patience. Every spent an hour letting your grandchild squeeze 6 tablespoons of lime juice? LOL Had a blast.

for those w/issues re: the gelatin...ok...this is what the recipe says: 1 1/4 ounces (1 envelope package unflavored gelatin...what about (1 envelope are people NOT getting???...it's not that difficult to realize it is saying ONE 1/4 ounce package which IS ONE envelope !...this recipe is off the chain good!

I agree with the prior review - 5 stars not enough! 2nd time I've made it and once again a HIT! Let it sit out for about 2 hours before attempting to slice it though...Thanks Paula Deen!

If there were a rating higher than 5...this would be the one to do it! Found out I have a key lime tree in my yard! Looked for easy key lime recipes with good rating. This is a HUGE hit. Not really a pie...more like a creamy cheesecake to me & the hit of my holidays. Made one for work party, making one for co-worker for her Thanksgiving & one for my Thanksgiving. Make this & bring copies of recipe with U...could NOT be easier. So good!

BEST KEY LIME PIE EVER! It was so delicious. My family does not care for traditional tangy/sour key lime pie, and they loved this pie! It was not sour at all! Will definitely be making again!
