Ingredients
- 4 large skinless boneless chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted, plus more for casserole
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 6 ounces (about 8 slices) Swiss cheese
- 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 cup herb-flavored stuffing mix, crushed
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Add the chicken to a shallow buttered casserole and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Layer the cheese slices on top.
In a medium bowl, add the soup and the wine, season with salt and pepper and pour over the cheese. Sprinkle stuffing mix on top and drizzle with melted butter.* Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve.
*Cook's Note: If desired use more butter.

Delicious! Absolutely delicious. Short and simple yet packed with flavor. My mom was impressed with this recipe. Gotta make this again soon.

Da Gawn Good!!!!!....made this tonight and my family loved it....my picky teen daughter cleaned her plate and went back for seconds,my husband and I were shocked!!!!

I made this last night. I put salt pepper basil & a little chicken rub on the chicken after reading reviews. Used fresh parsley mushrooms & 2 cloves of garlic chopped up and put the mixture over the cheese/soup wine mixture then added the stuffing. The sauce was delicious but I agree the middle of the chicken was dry. After cutting off a couple pieces I decided to shred up the chicken into small pieces and mix it into all of the "slop" I had on my plate and it was soooo yummy.
Next time I make this I will cook the chicken then cut it all up on my plate & put the stuffing/sauce over the chicken...it makes every bite taste yummy.
