Pretty darn good considering it was simple and cheap. The topping was a little mushy-looking, but tasted great. Maybe I won't crush the stuffing mix next time.

Meh! It wasn't bad. But not great! I detest most things made with canned soup, however, I had hopes that the cheese and wine would make it palatable and I suppose to a point, it did. I added extra cheese and a bit more wine as others had suggested, but it didn't do it for me. I've made much tastier chicken with wine recipes and will continue to make the tastier recipes.... not saying I won't make this in a jam again ('cause it was pretty darn easy!

** On a side note: I think a little bacon may help the recipe, if i ever do it again bacon, swiss and wine.... how could it go wrong?

Yep! A hit at my house! I confess. I didn't eat any. I am a vegetarian, but I made this for my husband, and he LOVED it. He kept using the word "excellent" as he ate it. I used 1/2 cup of white wine, as others suggested, and Panko Seasoned Bread Crumbs, because my husband is a fan of Panko prodcuts. I'm so glad I found this recipe.

This recipe is super easy to make ahead of time and always a hit in my house. I use a whole box of stove top stuffing on top and works well. If you don't want to use the wine I have substituted a low sodium chicken broth and works great. It does take longer to cook than suggested.

Hi I made this for the family and it was too salty, the stuffing was disgusting and the wine made it taste bitter. The reason that I am giving it 3 stars is because with the original was lacking,I did try it again and I tweeked it based on the reviewers suggestions. First, I left out the salt as a seasoning. The soup and topping are salty enough. Second, I used chicken broth instead of wine that too has plenty of salt. Third, I used Ritz crackers as a topping with a bit of garlic powder to add a little more taste. With those changes it was really good and am making it again tonight. I liked this recipe in the first place because we have all the ingredients in the pantry at anytime so its convient.

this recipe is good, but I think it had too much bread crumbs.I should have used a half a cup.I did use 1/2 cup of wine like the other reviewers suggested,I'm glad I did! I used Robert Mondavie Woodbridge chardonnay wine.and the flavor of it really popped(perfectly yummy the Swiss cheese blended in and i could hardly taste it.But it IS a mild flavored cheese.Over all a good meal!!!

This recipe was just ok. Cream of chicken soup is one of those things that should never be used unless you're sure it won't make the meal taste like cafeteria food. I have a complete aversion to it but thought I'd give it a chance because it looked so good on TV. Its so much better to take the time to create a creamy base that doesn't have that funky processed flavor. Also, many people are posting that they followed the recipe and loved it, but then note that they added mushrooms. montreal seasoning, emeril's essence, etc...That has to be what made the difference. The flavor and texture of the chicken was great, but I agree with most reviewers about the extra salt. Not necessary. Perhaps I should try cream of celery with this recipe if I need a quick alternative. Otherwise, I'll be making my own cream sauce. I think some fresh celery an onion would definitely add some much needed layers of flavor. I am also considering replacing the stuffing mix with bread seasoned bread crumbs.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this recipe! Great taste but the best thing was the prep time.....10 minutes. Good for a mom who has to run out the door to do carpool. I added more stuffing mix. Don't need to salt your chicken. My new favorite chicken recipe! Thanks Paula! xo
