    I was DYING for chicken pot pie and mashed potatoes. I didn't have any flour left in the pantry and it was too too late to run out to the store. So, I used some instant mashed potatoes. It was great! I should have used more cream, but YUM YUM YUM! Next time I'll use flour. Used the taters on the chicken, too. And I have to say, actually, that was amazing. This reciepe is in my cupboard, now. You bet I trust Paula! But, improvise with what you've got and it'll probably STILL turn out fabulous. Even the kids loved it!

    I made this recipe after watching the show with my husband. I was a bit confused because on the show it looked as though very little chicken base was used but the actual recipe called for much more. After following the recipe I decided that it was a bit too salty for my personal taste. I will deffinately make this again but would decrease the amount of chicken base. Thanks for the "comforting" meal Paula!

    The pot pie was fabulous, I cut the cream by half and added more stock, but it still turned out beautifully. I will definitely make it again.

    We were lucky enough to take a last minute side trip from our vacation in Virgnia Beach to Paula's restaurant in Savannah, GA. After an 8 hour drive, my husband and I were dying to try some of Paula's recipes from her own place. My husband ordered the Chicken Pot Pie and it was out of this world. You could tell they took pride in this dish. It was like a work of art as the Puff Pastry cover rose like The Fortress of Solitude from the Superman movies. It was the best tasting pot pie we ever had. It was so good we decided to stay for dinner. I recommend this dish.
