    This is by far the BEST recipe for Lemon Bars I have made or tatsted.. If you want a more Lemon flavor just add a little more fresh lemon juice, I like the recipe the way it is though.. I have made different variations of lemon bars before, but the crust nor the actual filling had the taste this recipe does. I would give Paula a blue ribbon if she entered these in our county fair. Thanks Paula!

    I usually love Paula's recipes and was really excited to make these. However, I couldn't even taste the lemon at all! They almost tasted like a chess pie. You would definitely need to add more lemon to call them "lemon bars."

    i thought that these would be very good but there's way to much crust and you can't even tell that there's lemon on the bars.
    i was very disappointed in this recipe.

    I made these bars with key lime juice insted of the lemon. They were excellent! Very easy to make! Great recipe Paula!

    Okay one of my close friends mom always make him lemon bars for Christmas. Being the good friend I am I would help him eat them, but one can't wait and hope that this will always be. So I looked up some recipes for lemon bar and this was the best and closes I could find to his moms. I made a batch and used my family as guinea pigs. Well they loved them so much my mom now has me making 3 pans for the church festival. (add an additional teaspoon of lemon juice for more tasted

    A solid recipe, the bars were good. I tried one from the Whole Foods Bakery against it. This one was better. It's also really easy to make. Lemon zest ads a little extra something. However, taste wise I have to say Ina's (Barefoot Contessa's are the best I've made.

    These lemon bars are scrumptious! So easy to make and the flavor is phenomenal. I added some lemon zest for a little something extra special. This is my first time making lemon bars that weren't from box and I recommend them to anyone!

    I love this recipe...very quick and easy. I added zest to the crust as well as the filling and cut down on the amount of butter. I also added an extra tbsp of lemon juice....the bars were delicious!

    Made these for a function yesterday and they were a hit!!! No problems, tasted great... The only change I made to Paula's recipe was adding lemon zest to the topping mix.... I think it gave it a nice flavor.
