I made this for a Luai Party. Wow Wow Wow Everyone loved it. My family was disappointed they only got to try them. Kids loved it too. I have to make it again soon. I like the fact it makes alot. Just so lemony - good good good.

I have made these twice this week. It's true the batter is thicker and it's best to fill only half full.(find a useful tool You MUST spray muffin tins well so they 'pop' out of pan and cool them completely before coating. I coated several muffins at once by rolling them around in glaze using a fork but did not pierce them. Worked better to use fork to ‘lift‘from bowl and allowing them to drain on a rack with paper towels underneath. It helped make clean-up easier. Once all are glazed I placed the entire rack in refrigerator to chill for about 30 min to an hour before placing blossoms in air tight container and storing in fridge. GREAT cold! The lemon blossoms are delicious with tea and/or coffee in the morning. EVERYONE LOVES THEM! Like most recipes it was easier the second time around. I will definitely make these again.

I wanted to love these, as I love lemon, and this recipe got so many great reviews. The batter was thick and tough to work with, the muffins wouldn't easily come out of pan, so as a result, I had to use a knife to try ti slide them out, and the icing was thick and not easy to "dip" muddings in. The taste I enjoyed, but not the rest!

I wish I had read the reviews before I made these. I baked mine for the full 12 minutes like the recipe said. The bottoms were burnt and the cakes were very dry. I probably won't be making these again. I don't usually have any problems with Paula's recipes but these definately look better on TV than how they actually came out. Sorry Paula

Really Really Good and super easy to make! After reading the reviews I picked up the spray with flour and only put one tablespoon of batter in the muffin tin- the muffins did not stick - my oven may run hot or the Tab of batter was not enough to require12 min - but the Tab was the perfect amount of batter to have the muffins rise to just the top of the muffin tin without going over - 9 to 10 min was perfect - the glaze is delicious - i was not sure how strong the lemon flavor would be so I did not add the zest - it was lemony enough for me but lemon lovers will appreciate the zest - I dunked the muffins half way into the glaze and let it drip down because I was afraid of making the muffin too sweet but the glaze is light like a donut glaze and next time i will dunk the entire muffin - made these for my husbands birthday and these muffins were a hit! I highly rec - quick and easy and a crowd pleaser enjoy!
