    my friend and i are lemon addicts. she tried this first and said the batter was too thick although it tasted very good. i tried it today. it's possible they are suppose to be dense but also i think it's possible that something was left out even though the oil was bumped up for liquid. it says to ''pour'' the batter into the cups. no way to do that as is. you would have to ''spoon'' it like thick batter. i squeezed 1/2 a lemon into a mesuring cup and filled it with water to make 1 cup total. the batter was then ''pourable'' and the little cakes came out light fluffy and perfect. popped right out of the pan if you do it immediatedly. these are fabulous. i will make them repeatedly!

    Maybe because I made regular size cupcakes... I found these cupcakes too dense, not light and fluffy. Didn't really care for them.

    Quick, simple and absolutely delicious. I did use a little extra lemon in the sauce but I love lemon.

    Made these for Christmas and they were wonderful. I didn't have any problems with the recipe. The glaze is "to die for" as Paula would say. For me, this is the perfect amount of lemon with that much sugar.

    I'm an experienced cook/baker. Made the Blossoms twice, failed both times after following the recipe to the word. When baked, the Blossoms were concave in the middle, and stuck in the mini cupcake baking pan. I can't imagine what my problem is. After reading all of the reviews, I only have to assume that it is "my" problem.

    Seemed like too much powder sugar for the glaze (very sweet. Added extra juice and water (was so thick couldn't stir to thin so I could pour over the cupcakes. Overall, they tasted great after some adjustment.

    I really enjoyed these and so did my family but they were kinda sweet, so now I make half with the glaze and half without this way I accommodate everybody overall these are Delicious I've made several batches I cant get enough!!!!!...ENJOY!!!

    This recipe was incredibly messy and all my cupcakes had sunken middles. I followed the recipe exactly. I'm not sure what happened but I am sure I will never be making these again. They just look sloppy.
