I made these with chicken rather than shrimp and used 1/2 sesame oil and 1/2 canola oil, more garlic and some chili paste. The sauce is very thin-next time I think I will leave the sauce in the pan and reduce it or thicken it a bit with some cornstarch. The flavor was good, I did receive favorable comments from party guests.

I didn't have shrimp so I used chicken and it turned out delicious.
Great for a light summer luncheon.

The flavor in this dish is very good. The only issue I had was that the shrimp had a bit too much marinade, even after it was cooked. While I tried to remove some of it before making the wraps, it still made the lettuce wraps really messy to eat. I think I might try and find a different way to eat this shrimp.

I added red pepper flakes to the marinade. And added extra ginger, lime juice, veggies, and garlic. I also used romaine lettace instead. I also added white rice layering the shrimp mixture on top. LOVED THIS! Quick and esasy lunch or dinner.

I couldn't find Boston lettuce (kind of funny as this show is in Georgia and so am I but went to 3 stores and they didn't have Boston but just used lettuce romaine leaves as a small salad and spooned mixture over the leaves. Everyone loved it. I would think this way is a little less messy too!
