I thought this recipe was really great! I modified the sauce a little bit by adding some red wine, additional seasoning and onion...I also skipped the sausage and did ricotta cheese instead of cottage. If I were to make it again I would add more cheese and make more sauce, but that's a trial and error sort of thing :

So tasty, some of the best lasgna we have eaten. Receipe should have specified that the Parmigianno-Reggiano is a Parmesan cheese. I would substitute cooked noodles instead of the oven ready noodles. Some spots were chrunky. This still was a fabulous lasgna! YUM> YUM. Bryan & Michelle

Dinner for 60 high school football players tonight, I multiplied the recipe by eight and made four large trays. I normally hate lasagna...Definately not this one! Thanks!

This was the first time I ventured out and made lasagna. I'm a beginner and was able to follow this recipe without much effort. It was an absolute hit!! Thank you!!!

I substituted ricotta for the cottage cheese and also used shallots instead of onion. Guests raved about it and the leftovers were fought over instead of thrown away. Way to go, Paula!

Oh Paula, Paula, Paula, this recipe is fab!! I'm not even a big fan of lasagna, but this one hooked even me! As a beginner, I was concerned it should be put together "a certain way," but it really did just come together. I felt like the tomato sauce was almost not enough, but it ended up fine. I also didn't have those wide lasagna noodles like she had in the episode, but it didn't really affect the taste. So Yummy!! Will maybe use 1 lb of meat next time instead of 1 1/2, but all around good!
