    Simple lasagna? Didn't think it was possible. This is the first time i've attempted a lasagna but i'm glad I found it for my first try. I will probably try to "beef" up the sauce with some mushrooms and peppers and increase the seasoning a bit but it's a great basic recipe. I would love to try it with some crushed red pepper but I don't know how my son would tolerate it. I did use ricotta instead of the cottage cheese, since i LOVE ricotta but other than that I followed it to the letter. Great recipe

    Thank you for the video, it helped alot! First time lasagna makers here and this was so easy for my husband & I to do! We substituted hot italian sausage, went generous on dried herbs/spices, ricotta instead of cottage cheese, also added sliced mushrooms, 1cup red wine and 1T of sugar to the sauce as it simmered. When our guests walked in our home they commented on how deicious dinner smelled. They even helped themselves to seconds and raved about the meal! I will definitely make this again!! And bubba, this in no way tastes like frozen lasagna, shame on you!

    This was delicious!! It was my first time making lasagna and I must say it was an easy to follow recipe. The family loved it! I love that she uses cottage cheese instead of ricotta because I personally don't like ricotta cheese so much so it was perfect!
