Perfect, perfect, perfect. I will be making these for a long, long time. Simple as could be, the family loved them. They won't be hanging out on the counter for long. Paula, thank you so much for always making me smile. Your sunshine on a cloudy day. Love from my kitchen to yours! Happy New Year

I just made these cookies after watching Paula's show yesterday. The ingredients are things I always have on hand and the recipe is so easy to make. I could hardly wait to taste them. It was love at first bite and now I am having to use a lot of will power to stay away from them or I will eat half the pan! They are for New Years Day so I will force myself to wait till tomorrow. As usual Paula, you give us awesome recipes. Love ya girlfriend!

I was home sick and seen Paula Dean do this recipe and I wrote down what she said and I tried it when I felt better. I did it for a holiday and it was gone before the night was over. My family said it was very rich, but they had no problem eating it up.
I loved it because it reminded me of the pecan frosting for German Chocolate cake and that is one of my absolute favorite cakes so I knew it'd be good. It was absolutely the bomb!
I'd recommend this to anyone but I'd make sure the squares were smaller because it was very rich.
I read in the reviews about using cream cheese in the frosting and may try that the next time, but either way, I'd definitely make this again.

I made these for my son's teacher luncheon and they loved them! I did make a few changes to the recipe. I added a layer of melted semisweeet chocolate on top of the filling before the last layer of graham crackers. I also used a block of cream cheese in the topping. Cut into very small squares they were perfect.

I love nuts, coconut and graham crackers so I thought these would be great. They were pretty good but not great and way too sweet. Cut the sugar to 2/3 cup and they'll be better but still not fantastic. I dont think I'll be making them again.

A friend was having a Low Country Boil for a group of friends, so I thought I would try the recipe for Low Country Cookies to take and share. They were a hit! You need to cut the bars on the small side since this cookies are so rich. This was very each to make and most likely you have the ingredients in your pantry. Will be making these again.
