These went over well at a family party, I have some people that don't like coconut, so I substiuted oatmeal, and they came out good, you couldn't even tell there was oatmeal in them! Very rich...

These are excellent! I was worried they might be too sweet because I don't have a very big sweet tooth, and I've tried some of Paula's other dessert recipes that almost make me choke from all the sweetness. But no worries, these were absolutely perfect. The preparation is simple, only be careful when adding your egg mixture to watch for curdling. All in all, this is a definite 5/5. I can't wait to share this recipe.

I love Paula Deen but this recipe was not that good. Her brownies are wonderful though.

I would rate this a "High Country Cookie" Simple and very sweet. Easy for the kids to make and of course to eat.I also after reading the reviews before making this recipe did add cream cheese for the frosting. Big hit in our family..

These were extremely easy to prepare and the taste was great. Even my husband who doesn't like coconut really enjoyed these tasty cookies.

I have made these cookies several times and each time nothing but raves from family and friends. Gonna include these in my Christmas baskets this year! Thanks, Paula :

These cookies are great, I used to make them for my boys when they were little, except that I added a cup of chocolate chips to the mixture, really adds to them.
