This recipe was really good, I didn't have green peppers on hand, so I threw in mushrooms, red pepper, and a black plum. Turned out great! My husband said these were the best pork chops he's had so far. They were very very tender. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the gravy was too runny and I had to remove the chops and veggies to a platter and thicken the gravy with extra flour. Will definitely make it again!

One of the best recipes for chops. It's easy- one pan and the chops are moist and tender. The flavor is just right! Highly recommended for an easy meal!

Made this for dinner last night. This recipe is incredibly simple and very flavorful. Unfortunately, the pork was not of the quality I normally get. I will definitely use this recipe again but will need to get better quality pork. I used portabello mushrooms (no pepper on hand and cut 2 oz. of the stock to compensate for the extra water in the mushrooms.

I've made this recipe three times now and cant figure out what people are talking about in the bad reviews. This is one of the easiest recipes i've ever made and pretty much full proof. I used thinner pork chops then the recipe calls for about 3/4 to 1'really just because there cheaper. There were a couple of comments that they were dry. I think they might be cooking them to long in the first stage. Your just browning them then taking them out, cooking the veg's then adding them back in, putting the veg,s on top of the chops and adding your liquid to almost cover and yes I cooked it exactly 45 mins and they were prefect. I added white sliced mushrooms and it was even better. My husband said they were the best pork chops he's ever had. Moist and tender and Super flavorable. I serve them over white rice or with mashed potatoes.

I made this recipe for the first time on Sunday and it turned out great! I was a little apprehensive because, I tried to make smothered pork chops once before and they turned out horribly! This recipe was so easy to follow. Anyone who claims they can't cook can cook these pork chops! They were so tender the meat was falling off the bones! My nephew and brother loved them! I can't wait to cook them again! Thanks Paula!

I think this is the best Pork Chop recipe ever. It was so good and this is coming from a girl who would never eat Pork Chops. It has so much flavor! I will make it again and again. Also giving recipe out to co-workers and friends. Great Paula, thanks again. You rule!
