I do not understand why this recipe got 5 stars. Absolutely BLAND! I should have known, chicken broth and a few dashes of worshire sauce is not very flavorful. I added a bunch of green Tabasco to give it a kick and my chops where done in 10 minutes, not 45!

This is delicious! Once you do the prep, the pan does all the work. The chops are very tender & you can substitute ingredients with what you have in your pantry & it still turns out great. I also add 1/4 cup sour cream at the very end to thicken the sauce & add some tang. Five stars on this one!

This is a pretty good recipe up to the part where smothered comes in. make a rue in a saucepan with butter and flour , add some juice from the cooked skillet juice star to thicken , then remove chops and plate them. Take the beginning gravy and now add it to the skillet . On medium high stir with whisk till it is gravy thick worthy . Now pour over your sliced and plated pork. Serve with mashed potatoes topped with the gravy from the leftover and some really good slow cooker collard greens. Also I omitted the green pepper.

I was looking for something different to do with pork chops. This was just so-so. I won't be making it again.
