I followed this recipe exactly, except I cooked it for 10 minutes longer and it was pure liquid. I thought it would set once I refigerated it, but it was still runny. Did I just need to cook it longer? Someone help me? How did everyones turn out so good?

Ok, so obviously the recipe is written wrong. I tried to make it again after i watched the video. If you did not watch the video then there is no way you could know that you are supposed to WHIP THE CREAM before you mix it with the other ingredients. It sets up just fine, but after cooking it 15 minutes longer than the recipe states. Even then, I only give it one additional star because it tasted pretty flour-y to me.

Sugar Cream Pie is practically a staple in Indiana. I have searched for years for a good recipe, only to end up with a soupy mess with a butter puddle on top.
This recipe is the one that I have been looking for! It is so EASY, INEXPENSIVE AND DELICIOUS! If you have any trouble, keep putting it back in the oven for 3-5 minute incriments until the "cream" part of the pie sets up.
YUM!!! :
