My grandmother used to make divinity. I never had her recipe but this one tastes just like she used to make. Thanks Paula!

I have tried to make this treat in the past, but no luck. Thanks for the recipe. My granddaughter and I will make this again. We will not wait for the Christmas holidays. Janet Barnett in Taylorsville, KY

I have a craving for divinity, but live in Denver. The divinity on the shelves at the store is squishy. Does anyone have an opinion or suggestions about trying this recipe here in our mile high city?

Paula my husband loves divintiy and I could never get it to turn out until tonight. He and I made one batch from a recipe that I found in a book and let me tell you it didn't turn out. haha. then we wanted to try again so I found your recipe here online and it was great. it turned out and is the best we have ever had. thanks paula.

After a flop, I looked up this recipe and could not believe it, two perfect batches, and only 5 minutes of beating......love "Mama", such a great recipe and wonderful divinity, my family will be happy. Joyce in Mesa, Az

The divinity was good, but if you live in the coastal south (like Paula, make sure the humidity is LOW. Not so easy to do, actually.
I live on a barrier island quiet close to Savannah, and it took me a couple of batches to finesse the process and get a really good result.
