Everyone at the party said it was the "best I've ever had". And I have to agree. Made this with spiced rum and Southern Comfort, both are Yummy!

Definitely too thin! Too large of ratio of milk to cream! Should be 2:1 not 4:1!! Also could use cinnamon and more sugar! Love Paula but not this recipe!

I agree with jubis_momma! This recipe is absolutely awesome if done correctly! The first time I tried it after watching the video. It was superb, not to thin at all!. The second time I tried it 2 years later with out watching the video to see the consistency. I did not whip the egg whites enough and it was too thin. I messed up. Great recipe just take your time. And, Food Network please get the videos up and working again so people can see the process.

I’m shocked at some of the reviews saying it’s too thin? This will be the fourth year in a row I use this eggnog recipe, my family and friends LOVE it, and the spoons come out to enjoy it. Could the issue be that the egg whites are not being whipped stiff enough?

Unfortunately this recipe disappointed me. It is not thick and does not taste like traditional eggnog. It's extremely thin and tastes very similar to milk or melted icecream. I would suggest a recipe that includes cooking the eggnog on a stove first, which gave me the right consistency.

I was very disappointed as this has a very thin taste to it, not rich & creamy the way you expect eggnog to be. In comparison to other eggnog recipes this one has a much higher ratio of milk (4 pts to cream (1 pt which is what I think is the problem. I would not make it again.
