My daughter and I made this together. It's soooo easy and delicious. The thicker consistency is a wonderful change from store bought eggnogs. We substituted sweetened whipping cream which we think made it even better. I think the egg warning is important for those who are concerned about salmonilla poisoning.

I made this last year, made it this year, and will make it every year! It's the best! After having this, I refuse to buy eggnog at the store. This is the second year I've made Paula's recipes from this particular show and it was AWESOME! This is a keeper!

Homemade eggnog is very different & much better than store. Be sure to wash your eggs in antibacterial soap before you begin. This was a holiday party hit, even for people that don't like eggnog.

read previous reviews that other people did and got various ideas from them. used the carton pastuerized eggs (yolks and whites and mixed everything together except the milk and the jack daniels and it was smooth and creamy tasting, almost like ice cream. you could barely taste the liquor in it. would definitely make it again but a double batch - it went too fast!

Let me start by admitting that I LOVE egg nog. I am the first one to purchase it when it comes out each holiday season and we got through lots of it over the following weeks until it is pried from by fingers come early January. I have made lots of recipes but never found one worth keeping until this one. What can I say?? Totally decadant. My kids even loved it immediately. Not for every day drinking, but if you need something truly wonderful to impress family and friends--- by all means make this! Thanks Paula!

really easy to make, i made it twice and put less bourbon in the second batch and liked it alot more. It could be sweeter, i think next time i'll put amerreto in it imstead of bourbon.

I tried to make this liquor-free for our family's Christmas Eve gathering. It was completely tasteless. Since it looked so appealing, we decided to add some Amaretto to individual servings and it completely changed the taste! It was delicious! So, if you're looking for a non-alcoholic egg nog, I would not suggest using this recipe. Love your show and love your recipes, Paula!

I never drink eggnog but when I saw Paula's show I thought I'd give it a shot. It is wonderful! Everyone loved it! I eliminated the bourbon as (one never knows and it was still a delicious drink!
