i make this recipe every christmas eve! everyone LOVES it, including the methodist pastor ... lol. in just three short years it has become a tradition. forget the entree, forget the dessert, everyone just asks if i am bringin the egg nog. thanks paula (and mother for a great recipe!

!This was AWESOME!!! I personally love eggnog and so does my family so thus they are all really picky about what they will drink. This recipe went over really well with my family however, instead of Bourbon I put in Caption Morgan Spiced Rum because, it has a slight vanilla taste to it, which turned out great! My husband thought that it could use a little bit more Rum then the 1/4th pint it called for but said that if someone wanted more they could add to their own cup. The only thing I didn't really like was that it made so much that at the end it was hard to mix it together but other than that it was awesome!

I made this for the first time 2 years ago, and have been making it ever since! I don't like to wait for Christmas, so I make it for Thanksgiving also! HINT: It's superb with Jamison Whisky!

This is the best egg nog I have tasted in my life as a matter of fact I do not like egg nog but I love this one! As the say in the south you should be slapped for creating such a wonderful drink! I love it and have made it several times and even given away the recipe this has made it into our family tradition for the holiday season!

This is almost exactly like the eggno g my southern grandmother used to make every Christmas and New Year's eve. I was thrilled to have this after we misplaced her recipe. my family really appreciated Paula's family touch!

I made this last Christmas and my family loved it. It was all gone within 30 minutes. I recommend using Maker's Mark bourbon for the best flavor. My cousin loved it so much she wants me to make it for her birthday party -- in JULY!
